JOB DESCRIPTION
We have many new wonderful opportunities in our existing teams as well as new teams being formed for 2016 for fresh young and promising graduates. Roles and responsibilities vary but can include:
- Real-time operating system:
- Used by various switching applications in one of the largest selling core network equipment range.
- Includes Operation and Maintenance (O&M) functionality for single sided, double sided, and cluster Central Processor (CP) environment.
- Embedded real-time OS running on a commercial OS and commercial processor:
- Provides fundamental functions such as real-time mechanism, memory management, communication services etc.
- Hardware Abstraction Layer:
- Provides support functions for higher level software functional requirements and physical interfaces towards Inter Platform Network and the regional processor hardware.
- Middle-ware:
- Supports high availability and manageability so that the customer can reuse these functions to save time to develop their products and accelerate their time to market.
- Includes Common Operation and Maintenance Support Agent
- Includes Virtual IP (VIP) which supports distribution of traffic in a cluster.
- Input/Output Subsystem:
- Provides Remote Operation and Maintenance (O&M)
- Safe storage and transfer of system data (i.e. logs, CP load Images, statistical and charging data)
- Internal/External Fault Detection.
- Linux/UNIX environment:
- Develops and maintains products based on commercial Linux distributions
- Modifying kernel to support new features.
- Implementing new applications/services.
- IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) Network:
- Designs and Developments new features
- Maintains and improves existing features
- Tests functionalities
- Automation Development:
- Automates Testing Process for big projects
- Builds up the Continuous Integration system
JOB REQUIREMENTS
If you have just graduated University with a Bachelor Degree in either Information Technology, Computer Science or a related degree with:
- Programming Language: C/C++
- Linux/Unix knowledge
- Interest in telecom systems and protocols
- Interest in Real Time Operating System (RTOS)
- Passionate to develop career in a professional and multicultural work environment
- Proactive and positive with good communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skill, with a logical, analytical approach to work
- High team work spirit and be willing to learn new technologies
