The development orientation of the Lab focuses on 3 main areas: Computer Networks, High Performance Computing, and Data Science.

College of Information and Communication Technology has seriously invested in both facilities and research staff. Corresponding to that investment, the Lab has achieved many prestigious international scientific articles, projects, and especially brought new research orientation and technology to improve training quality.

We have successfully deployed the Private Cloud for College of Information and Communication Technology (cloud.cit.ctu.edu.vn/horizon) bringing many benefits to the training process of the University. Cloud computing is a comprehensive technology solution that uses computer technologies developed under the Internet. Cloud computing creates a virtual working environment that helps organizations realize flexible resource provision, significantly reducing investment, and maintenance costs and power consumption.

The Lab has had a number of cooperation projects in several provinces (An Giang, Can Tho, Tien Giang) and with universities (Blaise Pascal University (France), University of Quebec (Canada), University of Rennes 1 (France)). Through this cooperation, we provide chances for lecturers and students to have PhD and Master's scholarships in foreign contries.
